GIULIO ROMANO

The history of GIULIO ROMANO

In 1499, Giulio Romano was born in Rome. This multi-talented painter, architect, and engineer began his career as a disciple of the famed painter Raphael and went on to become an artist in his own right, whose works are still sought after by collectors. Giulio understood the importance of light and color in painting, contributing to the development of the High Renaissance style and the diffusion of 16th century Italian style throughout Europe.

It's no surprise that this immense expertise inspired an innovative new range of Italian timepieces. Giulio Romano timepieces, like the Renaissance artist, are known for their creativity and diversity. Each series is named after a different Italian area and highlights a particular feature of Italian style and design.

With its brightly colored dials, the beautiful Toscana pays homage to the Bauhaus movement. Three subdials and an easy-to-use deployment clasp are included in this impressively distinctive design.

With its enormous, color-coordinated pushers, the Pescara epitomizes Italian design. This striking drivers' watch comes in three color combinations and has easy-to-read subdials for day, month, and 24-hour timings.

With its attention to detail and dramatic use of stainless steel screws to attach the top ring, the Piemonte will remind many of a far more costly sports and yachting brand. It's hard to imagine a watch of this caliber can be found in this price range.

The Ferrara is a three-hand diver with a bold and easy-to-read bezel that comes in a range of eye-catching metallic hues. This is perhaps one of the most fashionable diver watches ever made, despite the fact that it is still totally utilitarian.

The Giulio Romano range is completed with the Rimini and Termoli models, which combine inventive color and material combinations to create a fun and economical design statement.

Giulio Romano watches have genuine leather or caoutchouc bands and the signature Giulio Romano crown, which is surrounded by seven raised dots. Water resistant to 130 feet, the watches are powered by a precise quartz movement.
